Isel Park

Sketching the Marsden's House

The wooden back part of the house. Is it older? Or did they run out of materials?

Boo! 
Isel park was built in 1848 amongst native forest (Built with Rimu, matai and kauri).
The forests were soon chopped down.
By the 1920's Stoke was wheat fields.
By the 1940's it was apple fields.
By 1965 it was established as it was amongst the suburb of Stoke.
In 2000 it was made a museum.

Inter-School Swim Champs

Tasman, Te Matai and Sydney represented Nayland Primary at the interschool swim sports.
The came second in the relay and Te Matai came third in the free-style.
