Ki o Rahi

We're studying the ancient maori game of Ki o rahi. It's making a revival in NZ after a detour through France and Italy!

Bread Rolls and yeast experiments.

Um this is a photo of the bread rolls we made.... But they were so good they didn't stick around for the photo!
Oh well.
We also blew up balloons by putting rising agents (yeast, soda or baking powder) in a bottle and placing the balloon over the top.
What made it rise? What gas was it?

Bread Wow Week

What an amazing start to the term. Not only did we bake milk loaves and irish soda bread, but the triangles maths group created metre cubes!
